If a local model exists for a language, it starts downloading automatically when you select that language. If no local model exists, translation requires cloud models.

Expand Lasso’s actions, turn on the microphone, then collapse the menu. Ask about anything in the text on screen: word meanings, synonyms, grammar, or translation nuances. The assistant uses the selected text and image as context.
